At one of my old corporate jobs, there were a bunch of transplants from NYC and if you walked into the bathroom when they were laying cable, they would be "who's that" and try to start a conversation. i never understood that.

Some americans are too friendly.
In the UK you never even say anything to anyone in the toilet. At best you acknowledge them with a nod, bu thats all.
