hell's teeth, nairn. your weekend sounds rubbish.
at least it was bad enough to be comical. somehow there is consolation to be had in that...
it's so difficult to have old friends visit from home. especially when home is another country and you haven't seen them for a long time. they can turn into twats and you get each other wrong and then it just dissolves into an awkward, mutually self-conscious vortex in which you anxiously wait for their plane to leave.

haha. i see now that if there are any places in central london which would be suitable for these kind of people, i certainly don't know where they are!
