London Bar Recommends?

Ok. I'm required to go out in the centre of town this evening, meeting friends as they come out of the stupid-sodding Ice Bar nr. Piccadilly Circus. I don't usually go out in the town centre, and particularily not on a Friday night at rush hour.
Can anyone recommend a decent bar / club that would satisfy an eager wide-eyed foreigner and not expose me to lots of noisy city-twats and tourists, manic bustling and not being able to sit for more than I would wish to endure?
It has to be within 20 minutes walk of Piccadilly (precluding all my normal choices) and preferably with decent music.
Thankyou very much

I really like the Cunt and the Twat on High Street in Shoreditch, it's a bit pricey, but what isn't these days?

(May 19 06, 07:48)Yep good call. If you would like a more old school pub, John Snows is very cheap.
- skt0
Jon snows is the best pub in Soho. £1.97 a pint. Although Aiagearegerer brou gives a hoor of a hangover.

I hate that beer at John snows. £1.97 is exaclt £1.96p too expensive in my opinion, it is dire.
That said, I endorse the suggestion to go to 'Two Floors' but there its £3.00 for a bottle of mexican beer!

(May 19 06, 08:18)As all good pubs should. Ah, the days when you could just piss into the gutter running round the bottom of the bar. Women in pubs spoilt all that.

Whate ever you do, no matter ow late it is or drunk you are DO NOT GO TO ONANON.
The bar in the ICA isn't too bad actually, just down from Trafalger Square.
