uh...you're getting yourself confused...
You can use asp/php/jsp etc hooked up to a database to create and manage all the pages of your website...it's not an easy thing to do...which is why most companies will have a hardocre DB programmer, an asp/php guy, and a design/html guy working in conjunction with each other....you could manually code 120 pages yeah - but wouldn;t you rather spend the time developing a system that allows you to automatically change/add/generate new pages by a simple CMS?
