    yo. Just do something that reflects whoever it is that is getting married. 99% of what you see out there is going to be templated, generic shit anyway, and that might taint you into creating an invite along the same lines even if you're not aware of it. Make an invite that doesn't look like an invite. Does it really have to a 3x5? Or have flowers on it? Is a Script font necessary? Let whatever it is you're doing be a reflection of the people and the even that it represents.

    The reason I'm saying this is because I designed my wedding invites a few months ago; and when I first did it, I felt really good about it, but now, to me, it looks kind of generic. The only thing I was happy about was my color selection.
