Yeah foundation in art, is well, arty. I did a national diploma in graphic design - so glad I didn't do a foundation in art.
It just involved mostly producing random crap, and learning how to draw (some people produced some awesome paintings, but they were gifted anyway).
Actually my course in graphic design involved loads of 'mark-making' crap at the start. ARGH, I was like 17 so I just wanted to go straight into photoshop. Glad I didn't.
Check out some other courses, I got onto my ND without any other quals (no gcses either - long story) because he liked my digital portfolio..
