joyride i've been reading your posts in the last few months and realised you are am member of "the society".
Anyway, yes, if you are out with a female, you will get more female attention. It's called pre-selection.
Chris Rock said "when a guy sees his buddy with an attractive girl he thinks "aww, she's pretty, i want a girl just like that." Whens a girl sees her friend with an attractive guy she thinks "I want HIM"."
Female's are jealous creatious - they're genetically evolved that way. It is an observed fact that if you put a male grouse on its own in a field, it will atrract no other mates. If you put a female grouse next to it, other female grouses will automatically enter its territory.
