First site i visit is our company's intranet. I keep it open all day so I can alt+tab back to it when someone walks by.
First real site i visit is usually espn or punknews.org. Although i'm all about the rss feeds these days. I usually just check the feeds and find that there's no real reason for me to visit the site.
Also I try not to open newstoday until i've been at work for at least an hour.
