Here are 10 undisputable common FACTS about the north:
1. They eat sausages made from pigs blood on a daily basis.
2. They still believe the coal industry is the heart of the nation
3. They believe AIDS is for gays and that smoking Benson and Hedges can cure it
4. They will tell you how 'insular' americans are, yet have never travelled anywhere other than the Costa del Sol, where they dine on fish and chips and stay by the hotel pool moaning about the germans.
5.They spread the dripping fat from meat onto bread and eat it
6. They ALL eat tripe
7. They believe the Olympics/World Cup/London Marathon/Mrs Smiths Tea Party should have been held in Manchester or Newcastle because 'London gets everything', and will neverf tire of moaning about this and anything else about London.
8. They still have net curtains, table cloths and carpet in the bathroom
9. They believe they are the 'salt of the Earth' and that gives them the right to crack poor racist jokes, fart and spit in the street
10. They would prefer 'abroad' if there were less 'foriegners'
