If crossing a border into a country with relaxed immigration enforcement and getting a job there to feed my family was the better way for my family, then I'd do the same. The risk is mine... I spoke with a buddy of mine who owns a construction company out here in Vegas and asked him how he felt about it. He basically told me that even though he's pretty sure that he has illegals on his payroll, he's done everything legal on his end. They came to him looking for work, they provided the necessary IDs and ss#'s, and he employs them. He says it's not his job to play detective and research all the documentation that they give him and try to discern which individuals are illegal and which aren't; that's the gov'ts job, which I think he has a point about. He also stated that he can't understand why the gov't is so adamant about this since they're taking taxes out of the everyone's checks anyway.
