No-one I know uses a typewriter for work anymore. So why would people still type a double space? It really pisses me off too. When are these people taught that it is correct to type 2 spaces? Maybe they all learned to type in Courier.
I just means extra work using find/replace (admittedly very easy). But it just annoys me that people don't realise that adding 2 spaces is only relevant it the typeface is monospaced.
