motion graphics should go in the opposite direction of what the public as a whole is feeling emotionally. these days people are either jaded or scared shitless about the state of world events. they should either get people interested in their surroundings or put into a state of calm. the reason apple stores are so succesful is because they both sooth and make people think. they are like a logical, futuristic utne reader.
