I hate the way illustrator handles clipping paths, in freehand the equivalent is to 'paste inside', then when you select the box you dont have any overhanging shit everything outside just dissapears which is really handy when it comes to using the align tool, because in illustrator your item will still take coordinates from all that gunk that is clipped away, but actually 'still there'
