it makes me furious just reading the way you were sold the mac book pro.
Sure the machine is in beta stage, at best, but THAT DOES NOT SHOW IN THE PRICES THESE THINGS COST! What exactly are the advantages of having moved to intel when the prices are not lower and all the software will have to be upgraded?
From the times I have used it I can tell you that the performance of rossetta is NOT acceptable for me, it is really like a G3, and all of the Adobe apps won't be ready till well into 2007.
When you get a replacement for it don't expect to be able to use it on your lap either, regardless of whether your wearing shorts or not. It gets very hot, an unbearable, nasty kind of hot too unlike nothing else Ive ever used, and no it doesnt go away, unless you use it for email or browsing and nothing else.
