    Hahaha, that's amazing.

I had a guy from a collection agency call me recently about something with Dish Network, money I knew I didn't even owe.

Suck a jerk, being all stern with me like "Sir, are you stating that you refuse to pay off this debt?" when all I said was "let me call dish network and get this figured out."

I asked him if it was in regards to equipment I mailed back late.
He said "No, it's related to a past due balance."

Then a minute later, I told him that I need exact details on what it's in regard to.
He said "Sir I don't have those details, all I know is that you have a $156 debt that needs to be paid."

    That's when I caught him.
    I said:
"Look, you just lied to me. You said it's not about equipment, then you said you don't know what it's in regards to. It's either a past due balance, or equipment."

    Guy got super mad.
"I am not a liar and I DO NOT APPRECIATE BEING DISRESPECTED LIKE THAT NOW ARE YOU GOING TO PAY THIS OR AM I GOING TO PUT YOU DOWN FOR REFUSAL TO PAY?"

Total dick. I paid the money, called Dish Network, and guess what? I didn't owe ANYTHING!
And I'm still waiting for my money back from them.

The whole thing could have been avoided if this idiot pigbastard manchild would have just let me call Dish Network.

Oh, and BTW, they had been calling me forever, leaving this message that said "Hi, this is Amanda! I'd really like to get in touch with you and learn more about you."

So I finally called the number back and it was the collection agency!

Told that guy I didn't appreciate being deceived like that with misleading messages.
Told him "If you wanted to talk to me why didn't you just call or write to me?" LOL!
