People who bitch about Nintendo are almost without exception always wrong.
There, I said it.
Nintendo always turns a profit, from the start, meaning that for all your whinging about them targetting a younger demographic, THEY REACH THEIR DEMOGRAPHIC. Maybe the universe doesn't revolve around you, and you aren't in their target market?
Do you even realize they aren't aiming the Revolution at just kids? Look up their Blue Ocean strategy for the DS and the Revolution: they're aiming for your sister and your father now too. MS and Sony can fight over the frat boys all they want, Nintendo is after everyone else.
You don't want to play Mario 15 or Zelda 49? I don't want to play Final Fantasy 81 or Grand Theft Auto 9 either. I guess Sony is doing something wrong, eh?
By all means, if you want to chase after the latest tech and the highest specs, and pay $800 doing it, go ahead. Not everyone wants to play Generic First Person Shooter 3, and almost nobody has a HD TV to take advantage of the bloated hardware anyway.
