Gloss Encapsulated
Encapsulation is where two pieces of film is applied to both sides of a print, creating an almost rigid effect.
- Used for protecting prints.
- Can be wiped clean.
- Borders of the clear encapsulate can be applied to protect the print further.
- Often used for large displays or even certificates and front covers of presentation booklets.
- The gloss finish would not be advised for exhibitions as it will reflect the lighting and create a glare on the printing making the text difficult to read in certain positions.
