don't quote me but i think the answer is no, because it needs to be a mic with some kind of power supply, either via usb or some other source.
G4s, G3s used to be ok with a standard mic & jack.
there's a simple cheap USB mic made by Logitech, otherwise your into more coin for quality equipment.
