Hey thanks for the replies but just sony doesn't really help. I am looking at the sony mz-n10 as a viable option but some top of the range sharps seem to have better facilities interms of recording sound quality - even having adjustable preamps etc.
I'm not new to sampling at all and am only getting a minidisc now due to the fact that i'm going to africa and the middle east for 6 months at the end of the year and need something transportable to sample anything I want - ie - dat recorded ain't going to cut it overseas.
i already have great headphones and tend to stick to cool edit, logic audio and reason for any sampling so i don't really need info on that anyway. thanks anyway guys.
