You're young and still in school. Enjoy it. Do what makes you most happy at present. You'll have plently of time to build up your future, but its easy to look back and regret the good times you missed out on. Eventually, you will know when its time to step it up.
If you're bored and you feel like the time is now then go for it, but I wouldn't sweat it too much. Good luck!
