Been designing a few ad ideas, to send to potential clients

Second one panders too much. Guys who sit on the couch don't think they're animals. They would of course fantasize about being a pro athelete. They are accutely aware that they're worthless tubs. They would like to be the guy in number one.Ads by and large are made by women. even if males come up with the concepts.
