I think I'm going to propose on Easter, our unofficial anniversary.
That was the day, 8 years ago, that I brought her home to meet the parents.
She's really starting to pressure me but but I do love her and she does deserve it. I consider ourselves to be married anyway but I guess we need the church or state to make it official.Did anyone here do the traditional thing and ask her father for permission?
I was sort of thinking about that but I've know her folks for so long that I'm more worried about him saying "why the f' did it take you so long?"The answer? I'm the only person in my family ( parents and 2 sisters) that has never been divorced and I'd like to try and keep it that way.
