Bathe with her and put it in a cake of soap then booyah she says yes and you get to finally try and beef her in the bath, mind you if your asking her to marry you then you must have done pretty much every way there is to have sex.....

i did the honourable thing and got down on one knee at midnight on xmas eve and i got laughed at for 5 full minutes. Tears rolling down the cheeks sort of stuff. She eventually said yes. But it was a bloody long wait.

Not necessarily suggesting anything, but when I was skating at the Rockefeller Center rink recently, after they cleared the rink, but before the Zamboni came out to resurface the ice, they let this couple stay on the rink, just idling around, a rink attendant skated the ring box out, and this dude proposed while everybody in Rock Ctr clapped...down on one knee, as the fiance to be help her head in shock.
(Then the rink dude took the proposer's camera, dropped it, and took a picture)

yeah...no food. don't want to get the rock messy.
the bathing idea sounds ok, maybe in a jacuzzi or somethin...
but...hmm....still thinking...

groog, that is bloody romantic!

ask to draw her. nothing like in the movie titanic style, just a normal drawing. outside, in a park or something. as she thinks you're drawing her draw out 'will you marry me?'
thats' what i did in a really nice scripted font with some nice flowers on the page.
when you show it to her tell her to close her eyes, when she opens them in one hand you'll have the sign, in the other you'll have the ring.
she can keep the drawing forever and tell all her friends how romantic you were.
bonus points for the next time you come home drunk and smelling like hooors from the strip club.

in new york or somewhere else?
why don't you surprise her and take her to a weekend trip to wherever warm and nice.
it's like "pack for the beach and get your passport ready for the wkend"
then pop at some romantic dinner.
where did you get your ring?
- swollenelbow0

i got it from my bosses uncle...we worked out deal "website for jewels"
turned out well...
about the trip, i already booked her a trip to miami to visit for her mom's birthday.

kOna, you so copied me! haha... if NT hadn't archived the story I would link it from last year.
We had a lunch in an open area of our old university. Had some wine. Broke out my sketch book and starting drawing her as she was reading a book. After a while she asked to look at it. I had written "will you marry me" under the sketch. As she was looking at the sketch book I opened the ring box box behind it. Got Married this last Dec.

patience is a virtue.
i hear many people go get their rings from their family jeweler and all that stuff? is it common or more proper way to do?
i know very little when it comes to engagement and wedding.

clear, i believe i did read that on here but i couldn't remember who said it.
i might have even asked for ideas myself, i really don't remember.
if it was you then i have to thank you... it worked perfectly. haha.
she loved it.

took my girlfriend to Paris after surprising her by turning up at her office/work at lunchtime.
proposed in the gardens at the Louvre.
big bonus, the night we were in Paris (june 21) there was a massive street party which made the evening even better.
probably go there again this year.

glad to hear she liked it, kOna.

i'm in new rochelle.
This may prove to be a little test or patience then.
A buddy of mine baught his girl a stuffed puppy dog toy and he told his girl he had named it, she looked at the tag and it said "will you marry me?" pretty good i thought...
hmm... again....
