ah Meemz me ol' sobre yank, i was just teasing. I dont actually think its a good idea to nuke the Middle East (though there is a certain logic to it!).
Just like pointin out that it's not all about the Yankee addiction to their SUV's. Hardly about that at all. It's more like that Talmud saying - "Whosoever controls oil, will control the world entire" (kidding!)
No you see the US desperation (and all other empires) to control oil isn't so their citizens can get cheap oil (which obviously the invasion of Iraq was never going to provide). It's about controlling a fungible commodity which is wholly integral to global capital - i mean stock markets, currencies and all sorts of exchange mechanisms are attached to the price of Brent Crude.
More than that why would the US be like "here China, you can have this ultra-light, easy to transport liquid that just explodes with energy when lit (oh and you get the whole of the Middle East thrown in for free)., and we'll withdraw into our borders and use this highly technical hydro thingmy." I mean, that would be imperial suicide!
