    Hmmm, seems time sheets are greatly disliked.

    Well, we built a bespoke web based program here. It's very useful. Previously we didn't really know how long a job took or have any idea of an average. I know creative work can be quick, can be slow. But if you charge a client extra and they go "what for? you have a detailed report to answer with, rather than "ummm, this and that took longer than expected. In my expereience clients don't mind paying if they know what they're paying for.

    I think time sheets work well in a small company (only 9 here) so you know if people are working or not anyway.

    I agree, it'd be a bit like you had to prove your productiveness in a big place.
