me and my ex took on an african gray for about 3 months. holy crap they are smart. he was always getting out of his cage, cruising around the house. he would sit on my head. bert was awesome, cept when he quoted my ex's mother. the bird sounded just like her. they require a lot of attention. but if you have it to give, you should get one. i would have to recommend an african gray because they are wicked smaht
