I took an online quiz last week and one of the questions was, "Can you run a mile without stopping?"
I answered Yes, though I've done no physical activity since about October. So yesterday I decided to hit the gym up and got on the treadmill to do a mile.
I started at 8.5mph, at an incline of 4 and 2/10ths of the way in checked my heart rate which was a booming 67 bpm (sarcasm).
So I upped it to 9.5mph and max incline of 6 for the rest of the way ... at 9/10ths of a mile I decided hrm, maybe I'll see if my heart still thinks I'm laying down on the couch.
I put my hands the reader and * ZAP * a huge spark flew up, the treadmill immediately stopped and I ran rite into the front thing ... I was laughing hysterically because I'm insane I think and I look over and every single treadmill that was on the same power line was stopped with people staring at me.
I felt like a superhero who was just experiencing his powers for the first time... the power of static-electricity.
So I walked away attempting to zap some more stuff to no avail.
The point of this story is if you want to be a super-hero like me, start running.
