Enter response:More seriously, (OK, maybe I really meant it.) I don't really get why people get their underthings in a wad about Trend Whores. All of us make rad things that we hope people will really like. A group of designers contributed to a mucho bueno look and experience at Starbucks and the minute most of the world likes it, we take a crap on the likers. I guess it's Pop eating itself and the designer's penchant for hating what we create after it's two seconds old because it so two seconds ago. I think sometimes we like staying just far enough ahead of the Cool Curve so we have the right to complian and/or the self appointed authority to declare when a thing stopped being rad.
