I said that was the average...design's a funny thing in HK...a lot of clients just want the job done fast and cheap - with not much regard given to the actual design aesthetics.

There is one of the worlds best thai restaurants at a beach called ShekO on the southside. Looks like nowt much more than a shack but the food is amazing and you can feed 5 for under $40.
