I just went on a cruise this past October with two of my friends. What we did was got water bottles, and filled them up with vodka, then just ripped off labels to other drinks and filled them with rum and other assorted liquors.
No one checked a thing.
I walked through the security thing in the beginning with a bottle of Grey Goose in a big Dasani bottle swigging the whole time.
Be prepared to still spend cash though. Despite all the booze we brought, we each dropped 700 on drinks on the cruise boat, plus 3 nites out on whichever town we stopped in.
Cruises are so fun.
