I've just submitted a patent for the process whereby a person can register the intellectual property rights of a specific use of technology to achieve a certain end.
It is called the Metapatent, and I will receive royalty payments from anyone attempting to gain patent on anything.
I will of course have to pay the royalties received on to myself for the right to have the right to have the right (etc...) of patenting ideas about patenting ideas about patenting ideas, eventually dying a screaming death in a wall of feedback, careering crazily around in a hall of mirrors, leading (according to Jaz 'Athena Unicode' X, and k 'O' Ona), the formation of a zero-mass black hole that will swallow itself, and emit inverse Hawking radiation, a form of meson hiterto unpredicted in the standard model of physics, but one, that, when discovered will unite quantum and relativity theories into an elegant solution similar to a variant of Jevad's Actionscript 3.0 predictions of pbrane topology interpolations over 11 dimensions, acheived by skinning the new Gravity component, and an as yet undocumented feature currently being discussed on a Russian wiki with an unpronouncable url.
