sydney is the place to be. Melbourne is ok but its a little bit suburbia. Sydney is much more of an outdoor type place like what you are looking for dude - nice beaches, places to go, the harbour etc. plus its much more glam then melbourne. melb is colder, always rains and stuff. ask anyone from melb and they will tell you melb is better as its their automatic answer, they are still bitter about the fact that we have the opera house.
