it's both good and bad. they do have places to to send you for work, but they often times try and lowball you for a cheap rate.
i say, sign up with the agency, have a high rate in mind if you do work for them, and when they try and lowball you, stay firm. there is plenty of work out there right now.
also, hit me up with an email and i can hook you up with a few more places you might be able to get work from...
