the project manager will assist the client with the creative brief (depending on type of project). Once the CB is signed off on - the PM will work out a timline for execution. PM will communicate with the client and aquire all assets and relevant information. It is the PM job to make sure everything is on time and have constant communication with the client. You job as a designer is to ignore all input from the PM and make sure they have confidence in selling through your concepts.
