If you haven't figured this out yet -
Go to network connections in control panel on your PC. Click on your network connection and go to the 'support' tab. Write down your ip address.
On the mac, while finder is selected (click on the desktop..) at the top menu go to Go -> Connect to server.
Then enter smb://[your ip address]. It will ask you for a password, just hit enter, then you should see a list of shared folders that you enabled on your pc. Pick one, click ok and it will show up on your desktop.There are probably better ways but that should certainly work.
