I would feel uncomfortable having that on my door, but it's a part of the religion and therefore he can have that symbol if he wants to. It doesn't have bad implications or meaning behind it in the way that he is using it.

(Jan 30 06, 09:05)Swastik is fine if it's part of your religion, no problem from me. In fact, at my university it was used on top of a medical health building as a symbol of power and decoration. Much like a gargoyle.
