I would 3rd the motion but Saul should be put in his own category...probably along with Andre 3000...they from a different planet than us. just ill lyricist.

Anyone checkout The Last Poets? ...dandy! I don't listen to much hip-hop-related, but I dig Saul as he is in a league of his own. Some of the slam poets out there haven't got a major record contract to do cool music. too bad because so many poets are a hell of a lot better than what is deemed hip-hop and rap....
