haha.
I am going back in September for a bit more, possibly making Hawaii my home!
My rental car was a maui cruiser, so the locals thought I was local.
Im also a quarter native, so I got pretty tanned, and ended up with a half inch halfway through the trip, which added to the local-look. (Maui)
Locals would make bird calls at me in the supermarkets for the first 2 weeks, until my tan came in strong... then they stopped making fun of me. I didnt really get "cousin" very much!!
