designers are the biggest ego trippers. Your art director can't get out of the early 90's because that would be a personal omission that he/or she can hack it anymore. they have "glacoma ego" and cant see because of it.
I will admit that I have the designer snob thing a bit, it is a defense. you cant be in the this business without a thick skin. But personal style is often mistaken for snobbery. If i say it sucks, thats my opinion, not the nessasarilly the guy next to me. Then again, if he agrees...well bro your fucked.
