Who's pretentious?

I've just been struck with a wave of nausea with the pretentious-ness (i don't care if it's a word or not) of the people out there in the design community. Patting each other on the back and feeling all self-riteous.
Maybe i'm just bitter on this dreary thursday or maybe it's a sign of things to come.

there's a different sort on here that seriously bug me, but if i say what it is, people will know who i am speaking of. I'm sure drama will follow and i don't even want to deal with that.
but if you're having a bad Thursday, throw some salt at Bio and i'm sure he'll give you a hug. Or, if you need to feel vindicated, block lifeinsodium from your MSN.

Your attitude is a perfect example of frustration personified. The struggle of individual designer versus a clique-oriented, so-called 'community'.

"design community" is a phrase for something that has never existed. at least there´s a little newstoday community with some really fun people, who are still aware of their human nature.
i for myswelf don´t care anymore what all other people fomr this "community" are saying and doing. your headache is gone when you stop to let arrogant people irritate you on your way. alright? :)

i pretend to be from germany when i go to bars sometimes.
it is incredibly funny to me.

a lot of people are here to help.
my biggest gripe is when people ask a question, someone fires back with a google blast. sure we could sift through google but if someone here knows the answer strait away, its super cool. so why not ask eh?
