i freelance fulltime...
took 3 weeks off over christmas and new year. the last few weeks have been really quiet and i've struggled keeping regular hours. i've had a few morning meetings with clients which forced me to get up early.i work from home and contract for a dev company... which means i have an office to go to when i'm working for them, which makes a big diffirence in keeping regular hours and being as productive as possible throughout the day.
i'd recommend renting office-space with people/company in the same industry as you... it gives you a place to meet clients, etc. the company i contract for does mainly big cms and e-commerce projects, and requests for smaller projects gets forwarded to me.
i don't pay rent there, but i get to use the facilities for my clients, use fax/internet, etc.
