    Too bad it's Brazil you have and not Final Render :-). There is a great file that looks superb on there site, but you need the fR to use it.
    If you want it to look really good, and you are close to it, you will have to use the raytrace refl/refr or it will look fake.
    The quickest way to fake GI is to array a bunch of omni lights around it. I'd look through CGTalk, do a search and you'll proably find something. The environment that it reflects and refracts will have a lot to do with the look, too.
    If time is a huge issue, look on http://www.turbosquid.com for models you can buy (some are free). They have material sets for sale, too.
    Oh, lower your raytrace depth count to speed things up (it defaults to 9, but you could get away with much less).
