the above is true although not entirely true. everyone's on the quest to develop the next best workout program or routine so no matter what magazine you pick up or article you read, you'll read something different.

when i was working out heavily, creatine worked pretty well for me. it's true, creatine boosts your muscle's ability to heal water, which could have the effect of making you look bloated.

"making you look big" is not it's purpose though. or at least not the reason you should be taking it. when your muscles retain water it allows them to heal quicker, and the faster your muscles heal the faster you're able to work out that same muscle group, and more intensely. when your cycle is over, you might lose some of that retained water weight, but if you were training correctly you should be bigger and stronger afterwards as well.

also because your muscles will retain water, you need to up your water intake, bigtime, otherwise you'll cramp up pretty bad. when i was taking it i was drinking about a gallon a day.

if you aren't in the gym 7 days a week, k0na's right... stick to a healthy diet and consistent workout routine. you want to take in about double your body weight in protein.

if you're really looking to bust ass, though, i recommend kre alalyn. they're capsules so you dont have to drink some nasty ass drink, and they're esterized, which basically means it will get into your systerm faster.

and if you're taking creatine, you should take some form of NO2 as well. this will increase the blood flow making you look more vascular, and it also helps the creatine to work better.

    hope that helps!
