hahaha. when did i become newstoday md?
creatine is ok. didnt really work for me though. my body holds a crap load of water as is, creating pretty much (basically) allows your cells to hold even more water, which gives you the illusion of being bigger. for me it made me puffy.
it will however give you a bit more strength. larger muscles (even filled with water) = stronger muscles. you'll lift a bit more weight and grow a bit faster.
your best bet for speeding up your routine is increase your training intensity and make sure you're eating enough protein, carbs, fat in the proper amounts.
