    You have to ask yourself if, in all honesty, the work you're doing is appropriate for your client. It might look great, but that doesn't mean it will be functional. If that doesn't work for you, become a 'fine' artist.

    If the answer is yes, all ego aside, then pack up your bags and look elsewhere. Go work for a design firm. It will open your eyes to what you're doing wrong. It did for me, anyways.
