seems like it'll be designed for casual browsers like our folks..sorta thing..
my old man would love it...he's a total newshound..if he could have a computer like that for 200 bucks that just allows him to surf the net and check out sites like wired.com and wikipedia, he'd be in heaven..about a year ago he dropped like 1500 bucks on a new computer, and neither him nor my mom need something like that...what the hell do they need that kind of computing power for?..they're not using photoshop, and they aren't doing 3d modeling..
i think it's fantastic idea, and i think google is just the company to pull it off...
not that i'm cheerleading google or anything, but lets be honest, thus far they haven't done anything (imho) that makes me terribly nervous, and on the other hand EVERYTHING they do makes microsoft nervous....
which, to my mind is a good thing.
