Connecting a MIDI keyboard or importing recorded sliced grooves you can do with the sampler that comes with Reason, it just takes some getting used to. You can cut off start and stop points on any imported sample, such as recroding analog beats and guitar and then you can tweak the sh*t of that as well and resequence, etc., etc.
