How about the fact that they offering a pitifully low wage increase WITH givebacks, broadbanding (one person doing multiple jobs), increased healthcare costs, newer workers would start out earning less and retire at a later age and a slew of other shitty deals for the transit workers.
The MTA has had a surplus of a billion dollars and should give it to those that do the actual work.
