Don't know if anyone else has had this issue:
Careful with Toast. After installed it, the internal writer would not write at all for a while. Once that was sorted, iDVD would not recognize a blank disc. I had to reinstall Tiger to set everything right.

(Dec 14 05, 10:58)I believe that is an OSX preference probelm not toast or iDVD, when something like that happens, select the file (option + I ) then click on the tab that says "Open With" so that type of file will open with the application you select always, then click "Cahnge all" and you are set to go.
