    congrats jevad!

    some advice:
start right away with the stories about how you had to walk up a hill both ways to get to school... in the snow... with no shoes. make sure he hears that story 4-5 times within the first three hours.

teach him that it is not what you know, but who you know and make him begin networking immediately.

if you catch him smoking cigarettes, don't reprimand him on the spot. just say 'youre smoking? alright! lets rip a few butts together!' then go out and buy two packs. tell him a real man smokes an entire pack in a night. he'll be feeling the effects after half a pack and it is more likely to make him quit than if you just started yelling at him.

remember that underaged drinking is going to happen. just make sure he doesn't have any car keys unless they belong to a drunk friend (you wont have to worry about that one for a while though).

since he is coming from another culture, let him teach you a bunch of things about where he came from first, then let him in on the american/british way of life. it will allow him to feel more at home in that regard.

and please, whatever you do, don't let him listen to your record collection. you are going to set the poor kid back like two decades with the kids in high school.
